There might be cases wherein you would need more than a single photo to showcase your product’s best features and highlights (especially if you are promoting your winning product). The best way to do that is to create slideshows or an image slider, which is basically a feature that allows your customer to view a gallery of product photos in an attempt to help them get to know your product a lot more than with just a simple glance.
Not only does this look good on any of your pages, but it will also enhance your chances of acquiring sales and therefore increase conversion rates. Now, some of you might be discouraged from adding this feature onto your website due to the fact that this will include a little bit of coding, but I am here to tell you that that is ABSOLUTELY unnecessary — if, of course, you have the right tools to guide you along the way.
In this post, I am going to show you how you can easily add a slideshow of images to your ClickFunnels page so you can tell your product’s story with more than just one photo.
How to Add an Image Slider to ClickFunnels
This method of adding a slideshow to your ClickFunnels pages is very simple and easy to do; there’s pretty much only a couple of things that you need to change when you go and set this up to be able to fully personalize it and make it yours — you don’t even need to know how to code (although we will be working with a little bit of it here, but don’t worry, because all you need are a few copy and paste skills)!
I actually did this tutorial about a year ago, although I have received a few comments saying that my method back then didn’t really work for their website. I’m not quite sure where these people got it wrong — and I don’t want to have to point out mistakes all willy nilly when I don’t even know if they followed through my tutorial step by step — so I decided to redo the whole video and show you right here, right now, the exact same steps that I have used to implement this on my own stores.
Clicking on this link HERE would take you to the ClickFunnels home page, and if you are using this platform for your business, you can go ahead and download my best ClickFunnels template, which is what is shown in the image above, and implement it onto your own account. Just download and import it, and you will instantly see my whole sales funnel. With it, all you need are a few tweaks here and there to be able to fully utilize this image slider! Otherwise, clicking on the link will give you access to ClickFunnels for 14 days, no charge!
Now, let’s have a look at my funnel template’s sales page:
See what I mean when I told you it would be simple? All you have to do now is to paste your image’s URL onto the space after [ src=” ] and that’s it! You can modify how many photos would appear on your slideshow simply by adding or removing an image module.
The best part of this is that this image slider that you are about to add onto your ClickFunnels account is mobile-friendly, too! We now live in a world where convenience is essential — people tend to multi-task and are always on the go, the result of which is a heavy reliance on mobile devices. Mobile friendliness is therefore an important element to be wary of, since there will be a great number of potential customers who will visit your website using their mobile phones.
Image Sliders for Non-ClickFunnels Users
Now, I understand that there will be some of you who are not yet aware of the many benefits of having ClickFunnels as a support system for your business. If you haven’t set it up yet, you might be feeling a little lost, because in the funnel template, all the preparations have been done for you, and you just need to make it your own through your photos.
Remember that link that I mentioned above? Now is probably the best time to utilize that. So once you have logged yourself into ClickFunnels, go to Settings > Tracking Code > Footer Code.
This is the code that you will need; this here is responsible for taking those images and actually turning them into a beautiful showcase of photos. It all happens on the footer code.
Now, where do you get this code? Go to Fotorama and scroll down a little bit to here:
Copy the code that I have highlighted and paste it on the footer code. You don’t need to copy the code above because ClickFunnels already automatically integrates this for you; this code is specifically for building custom websites.
Simple? Yep, totally!
BONUS: Customization Tips
“Fotorama’s default settings are production-ready.
However, it’s highly customizable to further enhance your user experience.”
Go back to Fotorama and click on the Docs tab, wherein you will see something like this:
This is a huge library of code that you can copy and paste onto specific areas in your ClickFunnels account (or the HTML module on the sales page, just like what we have discussed earlier). Click each one, play around with them and see which look best suits your website and your brand.
- Arrows, click, swipe;
- Navigation position;
- Lazy load;
- Full list of options;
- API; and
- Image CDN.
