In today's modern era, we tend to overlook and ignore tedious tasks that we would actually benefit from. The fast-paced world we are currently living in tends to lead us away from making an effort into doing something and truly giving it everything we've got to offer. Nowadays, people would choose shortcuts over persevering, if it would mean that they would get the same results at the end of the day.

Don't get me wrong; it's not a bad idea to take the shorter route to success. In fact, this is what I would be teaching you today!

How to Find Winning Products in Facebook

Now, let us translate what we have just discussed into the field of dropshipping. What is the most tedious task you could ever think of that is related to the business? Nope, it's not the website creation process, nor does it have anything to do with ad creation and management. It is actually the most important step before you could ever start seeing sales coming into your door, and it is the product research process.

There exists a stigma in the business, that if you do not invest enough time and energy into finding the best and most profitable products to sell in your online store, there is a good chance that it might fail, and you would have to end up redoing the whole store establishment process all over again. While extensive product research is indeed a must in the business, there are quite a few ways to go around it -- nope, you don't actually have to pour out sweat and tears into doing it, because over the years, many experts and professionals within the dropshipping business have discovered methods to simplify the process and therefore allow you to enjoy the rest of the journey for as much as you can.

One of said methods is scout for winning products through Facebook -- because, let's face it: if other dropshippers are benefiting from a particular product, then why can't you? In fact, these dropshippers might even be more experienced and far off in the business than you, so in a way, you are having them do your product research task for you, for free! Yep, no more paying for an assistant to outsource products from huge online marketplaces.

So, let's get to it! How do you find the most profitable products in Facebook and add them to your own online store?

The best way to do so is to look at active ads across your News Feed. But firstly, if you want your feed to be flooded with these types of ads, you have to engage and interact with one and allow yourself to be registered as a potential customer of any online store you come across.

When you see an ad, click on the Shop Now button and let yourself be taken to the website's product page. Add said product to your cart, proceed to check out (but don't fill in any of your details or actually confirm purchase, unless you are interested in it!), and go back to the store's Facebook page and like it. And if you are using desktop to browse through the platform, you can scroll a little bit downwards and on the righthand side of your screen, you can see pages that are similar and related to the one you are currently in. Rinse and repeat, and before you know it, all these ads will come flooding right into your feed!

Now, choose any one of those stores and go to their Facebook page. On the lefthand side of your screen, click on the Info and Ads tab and see if said online store has any active and running ads. Of course, if there aren't (like the case we have below), move on to the next page until you find a relevant ad -- one that has a good number of likes, comments and shares. These are the factors that you should take into account when looking for a potentially profitable product.

On a side note, if you wish to skip the online store skimming process, you can simply look into their statistics in the form of page likes and date of its most recent post to see if they are active in pushing out products.

So once you find a reputable product ad right click onto it and select Show video URL. Copy and open to a new tab, and that will show us the ad engagement statistics. More than likely, the product page will also be shown on the ad; click on that, right click on any one of the photos provided by the seller and select Search Google for Image, and that's it!

So, what just happened? We outsourced for products via Facebook and Facebook Ads, and once we do find a reputable product, we went to the product page and tried to find the seller's source and/or supplier for the product (pages like Amazon or AliExpress, since we don't want to have to purchase it directly from the seller at a higher cost). And from there, we can simply contact the supplier to provide us with photos and a permission to dropship their products through our own store. Simple, hassle-free, and best of all, fast!

Let's Wrap It Up!

Product research? Pfft! No longer will you have to waste too much time trying to find the perfect product to add to your dropshipping store; it's easy as browsing through Facebook during your spare time and simply looking at relevant ads and just copying products right off the source. This method is easy and highly effective, if I may say so, as these products have already been proven by experienced dropshippers to be sellable and of course, profitable.
