We have been discussing in detail CommerceHQ and everything else you might ever need in order to create and develop a successful dropshipping store, and in-between our tutorials we may have talked about (or at least mentioned) ClickFunnels, but never really dedicated a lot of time to it.
This may seem pretty odd, but maybe I was too focused on helping people out on CommerceHQ that I never really noticed how a lot of people are wanting me to create a video tutorial for ClickFunnels — that is, until now. So before anything else, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for all your feedback and suggestions. Yup, those comments really do count, so it’s always a good idea to let your voice be heard!
That’s why in today’s video, we are going to discuss what ClickFunnels is, and how you can process and fulfill any order coming in via said platform.
What is ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels is a tool that helps you make more sales through a series of “sales funnels” — basically, with it, you get more money out of your customers. How does it work?
In ClickFunnels, all you have to do is to advertise your product as usual, and add additional items or accessories that you deem could work well with the original product. Pricing is still dependent on different factors, but adding in discounts or exclusive offers is what will make this marketing strategy extremely effective.

Though you might want to take my word when I say that ClickFunnels is definitely an “easy-money generator” and utilizing it is a sure-fire way to kick start your business!
Fulfilling Orders on ClickFunnels
So you’ve prepped and fully established your ClickFunnels account, and you’re already expecting your first order! How do you process and fulfill it, then?
First and foremost, if you are running a dropshipping store, that would mean that your suppliers will be unaware and uninformed of all your transactions — that is, of course, unless you either make the transactions yourself or provide your suppliers with all the details they would need.
[Method 1] Manual Online Shopping
Yes, Manual Online Shopping already sounds unconventional and even inconvenient, especially when you should be investing more of your time and efforts on other things. However (and especially if you are a startup business), aren’t your sales supposed to be the highlight of whatever it is that you are doing? That is why it is important to keep a close eye on your cash inflow and transaction requests.
Going back to the topic, when an order comes, you or a VA must list down all of the important contact information and order details (said details are listed down below). Then, go to AliExpress (or any of your independent suppliers) and manually fill in every required detail to be able to process a transaction. Afterwards, take note of all your transaction codes or reference numbers so you can send them to your respective clients and for your own convenience in terms of order tracking.
Simple? Yes, it is. But you must know that this method is only conventional for up to 10 orders a day. Any number beyond that and this method becomes inconvenient and is already a waste of time.
[Method 2] Detail Organization
In this next method, we are going to send all the necessary information directly to our suppliers such that they will be the ones who will make the transactions themselves, and all we have to do on our end is to wait for their response and effectively communicate with our customers. Here’s how:
First thing you should do is to export all your sales information from ClickFunnels.
- Go to Sales, then set sales filter to All Time.
- Click on Download Purchases to get a CSV-format file of your sales.
Pro tip: use the Cloud when storing all important information that other people from your team might need. This way, when they need to pull up a specific customer’s details, they can simply login to their accounts and find that whatever it is that they are looking for are ever ready for them.
For my team, I use Google Drive as, in my opinion, it has the best features and a very easy-to-use interface — heck, even beginners can turn into pros in no time! As with the Microsoft Suite, Google Drive also features apps that can handle multiple file types such as .docx, .xlsx, etc.
Now, upon downloading the CSV file, simply upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. Doing so will automatically convert it into a workable and editable Sheets file, such as follows:
This is what my sales sheet looks like. The file has the following information listed out:
- Order Date;
- Order ID;
- Item Name;
- Full Name (also separated into specific fields);
- Address (also separated into specific fields);
- Billing Email;
- Phone Number;
- Item Cost; and
- Shipping Cost.
Note that other details may be included (Funnel Step, Charge, Purchase ID, etc.), but can be omitted or removed for our purpose for today. The ones mentioned are the only ones you will need to send to your supplier. Also, the SKU code will be coming from your supplier; you don’t need to make this one up just to be able to fill in the fields. Furthermore, be sure to do this step every day or every time you get orders AND for each and every one of your suppliers, so as to keep a clean track of your daily activities and requests.
The next step is to basically tweak this Sheets file and fill in every cell and calculate the total product cost AND shipping cost.
To simplify the process of adding in details to your Sheets file, you may want to use the Sort feature. With it, you can quickly find entries according to item names, quantities, etc. This seems like a pretty boring task, so you just have to be smart about how you will approach it, and before long, you won’t even realize that you’re already done with it!
At the bottom of your Sheets file, do not forget to add a field for the total product cost and shipping cost for your supplier’s convenience.
In our example, our grand total comes down to $72. And finally, the last step is to save our file, export it and send it our supplier. The Sheets file would, in a way, look like this:
Then, after a few days or so, they will send it back with the tracking number column already filled up. This means that the orders have been processed and are well on their way to their respective owners. Simply inform your customers of their order’s status and that’s it! You’ve successfully fulfilled ALL of your ClickFunnels orders easy and without the hassle.
Let’s Wrap It Up!
One can fulfill orders on ClickFunnels via two ways: either manually or in a more systematic manner. If you are a startup that is receiving not more than 10 orders per day, you can simply hire an assistant (or actually, you can o it yourself, if you want to save a few bucks) to do what we may call as manual online shopping. Here, you or a VA can manually inspect and organize purchase details and literally go to AliExpress and make several single purchases — add products to your cart, insert your customer’s information into the delivery information, pay the suppliers upfront and wait until the transaction is complete.
On the other hand, if you are getting more and more purchases every day and it just no longer seems to make any sense to perform manual online shopping, the easier option is organize your orders in a Sheets file, make some tweaks, add important information and send it to your supplier so that they will handle all the transactions for you.
